   Learning Reflection

 This is last blog for English Strategies course.  I get the knowledg and a lot of technical. 

Example: skimming , scanning skill , quickly reading and many other skill.

          The scanning skill that I like best and apply to most.  Sometime the teacher opened Cambridge dictionary.  I think it practice to read and the correct pronunciation as well. 

And the find sammarizing of each paragrap I think that it difficult for me because sometime  I don't know. And the blog it useful for me because I can write better. Although there have been mistakes or grammar. I think the written on blog it help thinking skill and writting skill very much. I like it.


Thank you teacher in teaching and everything. I'm sorry for everything . See you again next time.

Week 14

                            Classic Ann Lander 

Today I learned about Classic Ann Landers.

We read on sheet. Then I discussed and shared opinion with my friends.

And we tested about Classic Ann Landers on sheet.

exercise

1.Responses:Write the name of in the space of each response.

2.Read each letter and its response again and answer the question.

3.Read the following letter to Ann Landers and give your advice to the writer.

Then my friends were shared opinion on the board.

And the teacher helped to the correct answer.

I think that the exercise it was easy.

And I think the words were difficult.

So I listened to teacher and I use translate for studied.

I used find keyword,scanning skill and skimming.

For last week I can learned about reading and made exercise.

Sometime I feel tried because I can't made exercise and exams.

I feel sad and so tried.

Week 13

Paragraph reading strategies books and novels

Today I learned about books and novels.

The books for studied

Diana : Her True Story

Aung San Suu Kyi : The voied of Hope

                         A Life for God : The mother Teresa                        

The novels for studied

Sacrament

We read quickly and find keywords. Then I discussed to my friends about the books and the novels.
Then we made exercise2 etc.




I think the words was easy.
but summarizing of each paragraph was very difficult because I don't know and I don't understand.




I used scanning skill and found keyword in reading.




I think I solved about read and write.
and I can use scanning skill in exam better.

Week 12

Extensive reading continuous and Read faster

Today I studied about Extensive reading continuous and Read faster.
And then the teacher made the question and we discussed with parthers. Sometime I discussed with my friends. It was funny. I like discussed.

I think that the question was easy.


I think that vocabulary were difficult.
So I used scanning technical.

I used  scanning and guessing the words in reading.


This week was help me about reading and writting.And I can reading better.

Week 11

Extensive reading

Today I studied Extensive reading.

 Then we discussed the questions.

Do you often read in English for your private study?

And then we answer in your opinion,how useful is reading alone in devoloping the following language skill ?

Then we read a Simply read.

We studied the words about research.

Ex. information

       experiment

       element

       system

       discover

        etc.

We made exercise. 

comprehension 1  Decide if he sentences are True (T) or False (F).Then write the line number where the evidence is.

comprehension 2 Answer the questions without using a dictionary.

vocabulary focus 1 complete the sentences with the words in the box.

vocabulary focus 2 complete the sentences with the appropriate form of the words in box.

And The the teacher assigned us to read a very long text. Then we were asked to write a summary of each paragraph. After that we did exercise.

I think a summary of each paragraph was very difficult. I don't understand

I think this week the words was easy

I think about extensive reading is useful for English teacher.

Week 10

Scanning

Today I studied about scanning.
The teacher told us made group 3 people.

How do you scan ?
need to have a question in mind.
Decide on a key word or experssions that will signal the needed information
- do not read every word
- need to read fast


And then we read in sheet and teacher told to student used find keywords.


And then we made exercises together.
I like made exercises togerther because we helpful.
after that  I made exercises 4-9 by myself.


It easy I think grammar was easy and some exercise was easy.


It difficult I think the words in story was difficult.
So I listened teacher translating and I used dictionary.



I think scanning is useful for me because I can read and answer better.

Week9

West meets East continue

Today I studied about West meets East ( continue )

The teacher told to student read the story. We had read the story " The Asianization of the United States" 

And then we did exercise comprehension1.

(speaking) we discussed the questions with a partner.

1.The text mentions many celebrities,food and products from Asia .

Which are you familiar with? Do you like them?

2.What products , clebrities , and foods from other asian countries do you like ?

And then we made complete the text with the words in the box.( vocabulary1 )

and complete the sentences with the correct words.The words may need to be changed to match the sentence grammatically.(vocabulary2) etc.

And then the teacher made the question.

If you met a foreigner living in your country, what questions would you most want to ask him or her?


Ex. Do you like thai food?
      Do you like places in Thailand?


Then we read about Expat in Asia.

I think that the words,story and exercise are difficult.
So I searched in dictionary.

I think made the question is easy for me because I used in my daily.

I used guessing words.


I think I should learned the grammar,words and read are better.

this week I can use more than.

Week8

Test , Fashion (continued) and West meets East

Today I studied about Fashoin ( continued ) ,West meets East. Then after studied we midterm exam.

We read the text about Splitting hairs and answered the questions.
It splitting hairs is different hairstyles.

About West meets East ( new lesson )

I made complete the sentences with the keywords I think the text was easy.
And then we read about The Asianization of the United States.
I think it difficult for me because story is long and some word I don't know.



So I ask to my friends and I used applications dictionary
And I listened teacher use cambridge dictionary.



I used scanning and skimming.



I think this lesson is important because I can use for teach in the future.

Week 7

Fashion

 I studied about fashion hair style,bag,shirt,shoes etc.And then I did exam in  sheet about " Famous fashion items" and "Fashion". Next Teacher told to student read in sheet around 5 minute and write main idea in the board.I discuss with friends in pang 72.Then I write in photo about fashion.

                 I think that the story it easy because I interesting fashion  and fashion is daily.

                 I think that the word about hair style it difficult 

So I searched the Internet .

  

I used preview , skimming and I can read quickly.

I know vocabulary about fashion and I can  used in my daily.

In the future I can teach about fashion to student because story about fashion easy understand.

Week 6

Today's technology continuos.

Teacher told to student opopinions in your class about technology and write in the board.

And then studied in your sheet about Researchers worry asteens grow up online.

Then we opinions about Researchers and Teenagers.Next I did exercise in sheet.

Teacher told to homework.

Next I exams 1 hour.

I think that the words it easy because I used in daily.

I think that difficult the story it difficult because the story is long sometime I don't understand.
So I arked to teacher and friends.

I used skimming and preview . I can read quickly.

I know advantages and disadvantages of using the internet.
I used Thai dictionary because it translate for studied everyday.
Sometime Thai dictionary meaning tolerance but Thai dictionary is useful for me.

Week 5

       Today's technology

         I studied about technology. Teacher told to student opinions in your class about technology. And then student write in the board about technology.
Example : Facebook , skype , E-mail and youturb etc.

And then Teacher told to student did exercise in your sheet.
For example
 pre-reading 1 solve these anagrams
For example : laptop is a small computer you can carry.(palpot)
pre-reading 2 Put these activities in order of how enjoyable they are to do from 1 to 9'with asthe most enjoyable.
etc.
While studied in class  teacher open Cambridge for student always and told to student listened and speak always.

And then Teacher told to homework next week about " What technology do you usually use to learn English ? "

I think the easy this week the exercise it easy.

I think the difficult this week the story is difficult because the words about technology is the most  news words.
So I searched the Internet and ark to my friends.

I used preview and skimming.

In the future I can teach to student about technology.

Week4

Make up Class

News Stories : Natural Disasters continuos.

          I study about news story continuos last week. I study Japan earthquake Tsunami hits north-east      and California fires : Evacuation orders given to 13,000.

Teacher told to student read and answer in your sheet. And then teacher told Hi light to the words is a difficult. And then teacher open Cambridge for listen. And then we made questions true and false about news story.And then we seared mean the words is a difficult and write in your sheet.

And then teacher told homework about What technologies can you use to learn English ? How ?

I think the easy  this week is the story it easy because I ever see news.

I think the difficult this week the words it difficult 

Example reactor : (mean) a large machine in which atoms are either divided or joined in order to produce power.

So I searched the Internet.

I used skimming scanning and preview to find.

I think I can read news better in daily.

Week 3

         News Stories : Natural Disasters
     

             I study about news. And then teacher told to students made group 4 people.And then teacher open video about natural disaters news.Teacher told to student saw video and discuss about natural disaters news and write in paper. And group representative present

 We discuss and write about natural disaters news. Teacher told us to set up these words  What, 

When, Where and Resulf because it easy to conclude.

I think the easy this week is the news everyday life.

I think the difficult this week  is the words 

So I ark to friends and I searched the enternet.

I used  scarning,skimming,perview,reading refection 

I read about foreign news better.

Week 2

 A Healthy diet continuos.

                 I  study about food ang drink continuos last week.
Today the student took 10  foods photo.And then Teacher told to stdents us think about food that is it healthy or unhealthy and the reasons.And then teacher told made group 4 people and  discuss about healthy food in your daily food.And group representative present.

And then Teacher told about homework.

I think the easy this week is the words because it has a words in daily.

I think reason about unhealthy food and healthy food .It has difficult.

So I searched the enternet.

I used skimming and scarning to find.

I think  I have reason to choose food more .
